Dividend Policy

ARATA CORPORATION (the “Company”) considers enhancing corporate value and returning profits to shareholders to be important priorities for management. From this perspective, the Company makes its decisions on dividends of surplus based on the management environment around the Company and the following policies.

The Company’s basic policy on dividends is to be aware of the dividend payout ratio while taking into consideration stable dividends, and we will gradually increase the dividend payout ratio to a target of 30%.
Based on this policy, The Company will pays dividends by comprehensively taking into account the business results, financial conditions, and investment in growth businesses.

Shareholder Rewards

Purpose for Implementing a Shareholder Rewards System

The purpose of the shareholder rewards system is to thank our shareholders for their constant support and to enhance the appeal of investment in the Company’s shares while encouraging long-term investment.

Details of the Shareholder Rewards System

1. Eligible Shareholders
Shareholders listed or registered on the Company’s shareholders register as of March 31 and September 30 each year holding 1 unit (100 shares) or more.
2. Reward Details
Shareholders holding 1 unit (100 shares) or more receive a QUO CARD with a value of ¥1,000.
3. Gift Timing
Gifts are distributed twice a year with record dates of March 31 and September 30, each year.
Gifts for shareholders as of March 31 are sent out with the convocation notice for the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in the second half of June.
Gifts for shareholders as of September 30 are to be sent out in the second half of November.
4. How to Use QUO CARDS
QUO CARDS are prepaid cards that can be used throughout Japan at various affiliated stores such as convenience stores and gas stations.
